As the autumn leaves turn golden and the air grows crisp here in Central Indiana, we approach a day dedicated to one of the most beautiful human emotions: Gratitude. The Spirit of Gratitude in Sanatana Dharma In our tradition, the concept of gratitude (Kritajnata) is deeply ingrained. Every prayer we offer, from the morning Suprabhatam to the evening Aarti, is a form of thanksgiving to the Divine for sustaining us. This national holiday offers us a wonderful opportunity to blend our spiritual values with the spirit of the land we call home. It is a day to thank God not just for the food on our tables, but for the nourishment of our souls.
